We are thrilled to receive standout reviews from Decanter magazine for three of our 2024 wines. US Editor Clive Pursehouse highlighted our high-elevation, cool-climate site and noted the overall brightness and vibrancy of the vintage. The full reviews for each wine are below.
2024 Chardonnay Nuée — 94 points
“Dazzling cool-climate Chardonnay from high-elevation vineyards in Monterey, which sees 7 months in 40% new French oak, shows fantastic aromatics of toasted hazelnut, lemon pastry cream, and deep notes of grilled lemon wedge. The palate offers wonderful texture and heft, with rich preserved lemon and a touch of creme brulee on the finish.” — Clive Pursehouse, November 23, 2025

2024 Chardonnay Myriade — 93 points
“The Myriade Chardonnay from the high-elevation estate of Domaine Messier in Monterey is an enticing bottling. Its aromas show bright citrus, yellow floral notes, and a pinch of [wet] stone. It spent seven months in mostly neutral French oak, and has a soaring acidity that complements the succulent ripe Meyer lemon that dominates the fore palate. Flavours of peach fuzz and lemon verbena are given a salty-mineral frame that shows through the finish.”— Clive Pursehouse, November 24, 2025
2024 Pinot Noir Verseau — 93 points
“A bright and oh so refreshing Pinot Noir from Monterey that really leans into the cool climate viticulture that’s possible in the region, though not always attained. Vibrant red cranberry, streaks of crushed slate and salty sea air leap from the glass. The palate stays savory, with mint, thyme and white pepper adding freshness and verve to the wild green strawberries and juicy strawberries. Dazzling and brilliant through the finish. This Pinot Noir is a blend of three clones, seeing 10 months in mostly neutral French oak.” — Clive Pursehouse, November 22, 2025
